Why most Sunshine Coast trade websites miss the local job.
The Sunshine Coast is a run of towns, not one city. A family in a new Baringa estate wants a fence and a patio, a unit owner in Mooloolaba wants a balcony resealed, and a couple in Noosaville are redoing a kitchen. They all search by trade and suburb.
A five-page site with a suburb list in the footer gives Google one page for every one of those searches. The bigger option is a typical agency at $3,000 to $15,000, often with 50% upfront before you see a page.
The south is where the new homes are. Caloundra West and Baringa added 2,000 people in 2024-25, the most of any area in Queensland outside the capital cities. Further north, KPMG found renovations make up 32% of all residential building activity in Noosa, the highest share among Queensland's leading renovation councils.
Then there is your licence. The QBCC counts your website as advertising, so it has to show your licence name and QBCC licence number. A site that only shows your trading name will most likely be non-compliant, the QBCC says.
Ampliia builds a 30+ page site with a page for every service and every Sunshine Coast suburb you work, your QBCC details on every page, and quote requests going straight to your phone.
New estates in the south, renovations up north.
The Sunshine Coast is building and renovating at the same time. These are the ABS figures for the Sunshine Coast council area.
The Sunshine Coast council area grew by 7,659 people (2.0%) in 2024-25 to 381,957. Caloundra West - Baringa added 2,000, the most of any area in Queensland outside the capital cities.

We have no Sunshine Coast Clients yet, so these are not live pages. They show how we would map the southern growth area, the Maroochydore coast and the Noosa end for you: a page for each suburb you actually take work in, on your site, not ours.

What a Sunshine Coast tradie website has to show.
The QBCC lists websites as advertising, alongside vehicle signage and flyers, so your site follows the same rules as the sign on your ute.
- ·Your licence name and QBCC licence number, easily legible and reasonably prominent. The QBCC says an ad with only a trading name will most likely be non-compliant, so we put your licence name and number on every page, next to your trading name.
- ·Electricians show one more number. Electrical contractors must include their registered name and electrical contractor licence number on all advertising, websites included. We add it to every page of an electrician's Build.
- ·Building work over $3,300 needs a QBCC licence, and unlicensed tradies must say so in their ads, for example: Cannot perform building work valued in excess of $3,300. Plumbing, drainage and gas fitting need a licence at any value.
- ·Under section 54 of the QBCC Act, the maximum penalty for non-compliant advertising is $6,044 for an individual licensee and $30,222 for a company.

What goes into a Sunshine Coast Build.
Dedicated Service Pages
Kitchens, patios, pool fencing, solar or waterproofing each get their own page and quote form. No crowded one-page list of everything you do.
Sunshine Coast Suburb Pages
A page for each suburb you work, from Baringa and Caloundra to Buderim and Noosaville. Written for that area, so a local search lands on the right page.
Quote Form on Every Page
A mobile-first form that sends job details straight to your phone. No platform in the middle selling the same job to other tradies.
Tap-to-Call
A phone button on every page, so a homeowner in Pelican Waters or Coolum Beach can ring you in one tap.
QBCC Licence & Proof
Your licence name and QBCC licence number on every page, easy to read, the way the QBCC asks. Electricians get their electrical contractor licence number too, beside photos of your real work.
