Why most Newcastle trade websites miss the local job.
Newcastle is three markets: the city, the lake and the lower Hunter. A renovator in Merewether, a family at Warners Bay and a new home owner in Chisholm all search by trade and suburb: electrician Charlestown, painter Hamilton, fencer Thornton.
A five-page site with a suburb list in the footer gives Google one page for every one of those searches. The bigger option is a typical agency at $3,000 to $15,000, often with 50% upfront before you see a page.
The region keeps growing. Newcastle and Lake Macquarie added 4,343 people between them in 2024-25, and Maitland grew 2.2%, faster than Greater Sydney. Homeowners across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie had $209 million of alterations and additions approved in 2025-26.
NSW adds a rule of its own. Ads for residential building work and specialist work have to carry your licence number, and NSW Fair Trading lists the internet as advertising. A website built without it is an ad without it.
Ampliia builds a 30+ page site with a page for every service and every suburb you work around Newcastle, your licence details on every page, and quote requests going straight to your phone.
Steady growth, and real renovation money.

What NSW Fair Trading expects on a Newcastle website.
In NSW, the building trade advertising rules cover the internet as well as print, TV and radio, so your website has to meet them too.
- ·Your name or registered business name and your contractor licence number must be shown in all advertising. NSW Fair Trading also asks for the licence category of work and a business phone number. We put all of it on every page of your Build.
- ·You need a contractor licence to carry out, advertise or contract for residential building work over $5,000 in labour and materials, including GST. Specialist work, such as electrical, plumbing, draining, gasfitting and air conditioning, needs one at any value.
- ·Leaving those details off an ad carries a maximum penalty of $1,100 for an individual and $2,200 for a company under the Home Building Regulation 2014. Because every page carries them, there is nothing for you to remember.
- ·You can't state a price that is only part of the cost unless the full single price is also clearly stated. If your Build shows prices, we write them as full prices.

What goes into a Newcastle Build.
Dedicated Service Pages

Newcastle Suburb Pages
A page for each suburb you work, from Merewether and Charlestown to Warners Bay and Thornton. Written for that area, so a local search lands on the right page.

Your NSW contractor licence number, licence category and business phone on every page, next to photos of your real jobs.
