Websites for Painters in Australia

Most painting businesses in Australia do not have a website. Some have a Facebook page. A few have a five-page template that was put together three years ago and never touched again. The homepage says "Welcome to [Business Name]" and the contact page is a form nobody checks.

That works until it does not. The moment a homeowner searches "painter near me" or "interior painter [suburb]", the painters who show up are the ones with a proper page for that service in that suburb. The ones without a site are invisible.

What a painting website should actually do

A painting website has one job: turn a search into a quote request. Everything else is a distraction.

That means three things:

A page for every service you offer. Interior painting, exterior painting, commercial painting, colour consulting, wallpaper removal, roof painting. Each one gets its own page with its own copy, because "Services" with a bullet list does not rank and does not explain anything.

A page for every suburb you work in. If you paint in Geelong, Brunswick Heads, Ipswich, Penrith, and six suburbs around each of those, every suburb gets a page. The copy says what painting work you do in that suburb. Google has a proper page to show when a homeowner searches "painter [suburb]".

A quote form on every page. Not just the contact page. Every service page and every suburb page has a form and a tap-to-call button. The homeowner should be able to ask for a quote from whatever page they land on.

The problem with most tradie website builders

There are plenty of companies selling websites to tradies. Most of them sell a five-page template and call it done. Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact. That is what you get whether you are a painter, a plumber, or a pest controller.

The issue is not the design. The issue is that five pages is not enough for Google to know what you do and where you do it. If you paint in ten suburbs and offer six services, that is at least sixteen pages of content that do not exist on a five-page site.

The other issue is shared leads. Hipages, Airtasker, Oneflare. You pay for a lead, and four other painters in your area get the same one. The homeowner picks whoever answers first, and three of you wasted your money.

A website that ranks for what you do, where you do it, sends the enquiry straight to you. No middleman. No shared leads.

What one of our painting websites looks like

Take Elegant Prime Painting in Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD. Their Build has a page for every painting service they offer and every suburb they cover across South East Queensland. A quote form on every page, a tap-to-call button, and copy written for that service in that suburb.

Maxson Painting in Brunswick Heads, NSW, is the same structure. Interior, exterior, commercial painting, each with suburb pages across the Northern Rivers.

Both sites are built mobile first at 375px, because homeowners looking for a painter are not sitting at a desk. They are on the couch, or standing in a room looking at a wall they want painted, searching on their phone.

What it costs

The Setup Fee is A$500.

A$100 Deposit starts the Build. We collect your details, photos and service list, then build the full site. You see the finished Preview within 3 business days of the Deposit and your details.

If you do not approve the Preview, you owe nothing more. Changes are made until you are happy. The A$400 Balance is due on Approval.

The Care Plan keeps the site live and looked after month to month. The price is agreed on the call before any Deposit is paid.

What you need to provide

Your business name, the services you offer, the suburbs you work in, your phone number, your logo, and job photos. The more photos of real work, the better the site looks. We handle the copy, the design and the build.

You do not need to write anything, pick a layout, or make design decisions. That is what we do.

How to start

Book a 15-minute Discovery Call. We will cover what you do, where you work, and what the site would look like. If it makes sense, the A$100 Deposit starts the Build.
