A pest control website needs one page per pest, one page per suburb, and your licence details on every one of them. People search for the specific thing in their house, usually the same day they see it, and they ring whoever looks legitimate and local first. A Build structured that way costs A$500, with a A$100 Deposit to start.
Pest control is a fast decision made by someone who is uncomfortable. Speed and credibility decide it, and both are things a website controls.
Why do people searching for pest control decide so fast?
Because the trigger is visual and unpleasant.
Nobody schedules a pest inspection three weeks out because they thought it might be nice. They saw mud tubes on the garage wall. They found droppings in the pantry. A redback turned up in the kids' sandpit. A wasp nest appeared under the eaves.
That person is on their phone within minutes. They will scan two or three businesses and ring one. If your site loads slowly, does not mention their pest, or does not have a phone button they can hit with one thumb, you are not the one they ring.
What pests should have their own page?
All of the ones you treat, individually.
Termites and termite inspections. Termite barriers and treatment. Cockroaches. Ants. Spiders. Rodents, rats and mice. Wasps and bees. Fleas. Bed bugs. Silverfish. Possums. Birds. Pre-purchase timber pest inspections. Commercial pest management.
Each of those is a different search and a different level of panic. A termite page and a cockroach page should not read the same way. Termites are a building risk worth thousands. Cockroaches are a hygiene problem someone wants gone this week.
Write each page about that pest: how to tell you have it, what the treatment involves, how long it takes, whether the house needs to be vacated, and whether a follow up visit is included.
Does termite work need special treatment on the site?
Yes. It is the highest value search in the trade and the most anxious buyer.
Someone who has found termites is thinking about structural damage and insurance, not about a callout fee. A termite section that explains the difference between an inspection, a chemical barrier, a baiting system and a treatment, and says what standard your inspections are carried out to, does more work than anything else on the site.
Pre-purchase timber pest inspections deserve their own page too. That buyer is on a deadline set by a contract, they are searching in a hurry, and they will pay promptly. Say how quickly you can attend and how fast the report comes back.
Where do your licence and insurance details go?
Everywhere, not just on the About page.
Pest control is licensed in every state, chemicals are regulated, and Homeowners know enough to worry about what is being sprayed near their children and pets.
Put your licence number, your insurance and a line about the products you use on every page. Add a short section on pet and child safety, and on what people need to do before and after a treatment. Those are the questions asked on every single call, and answering them on the page shortens the call and wins the job.
Why do suburb pages matter for pest control?
Because pest pressure is genuinely local, and search results for urgent local services lean heavily on location.
Different suburbs have different problems. Older weatherboard areas near bushland get termites and spiders. Dense inner suburbs get rodents and cockroaches. Coastal areas get their own mix. Writing a page about pest control in one suburb, naming the pests that actually turn up there, is useful to the reader and specific enough for a search engine to match.
Fourteen pests and twelve suburbs is a lot of pages, which is why our Builds run 20 to 30+. It is structured to improve local search visibility, and it means you appear for "termite inspection [suburb]" rather than only for your business name.
Should the website show prices?
A starting price helps in this trade more than most.
Standard treatments are reasonably predictable, and the Homeowner is comparing two or three businesses quickly. Saying what a general pest treatment for an average house starts at, and what a termite inspection costs, removes the main reason someone hesitates before ringing.
Say clearly what the price includes, whether there is a warranty period and whether follow up visits are covered. Ambiguity there is where complaints come from.
What does a pest control website cost?
The Setup Fee is A$500.
A$100 Deposit starts the Build. We take your services, your suburbs, your licence and insurance details, your logo and your photos, and build the site. The Preview is ready within 3 business days of the Deposit and your details landing.
You see the whole finished site before you pay anything else. Changes are made until you are happy, with no cap on rounds and no extra charge. The A$400 Balance is due only on Approval. Live after that, usually the same day.
The Care Plan keeps the site hosted and looked after. The price depends on the size of the Build and is agreed with you on the call.
Frequently asked questions
What photos should a pest control business use?
Your van, your team in uniform, your equipment, and treatment work in progress. Photos of pests themselves are useful on the matching pest page because they help people identify what they have found.
Do I need a page for commercial pest management?
If you want restaurants, food businesses or strata work, yes. Those buyers need to see compliance, documentation and reporting, which is a completely different message from a Homeowner with ants.
How fast can the website be live?
The Preview is ready within 3 business days of your A$100 Deposit and your details. Once you approve it, the site usually goes live the same day, depending on your domain.
Can you write the pest pages if I am not a writer?
Yes. You do not write anything. We write the copy, build the pages and show you the whole finished site, then change whatever you want changed until you are happy.
