Websites for Cleaning Businesses in Australia

A cleaning website works when it treats end of lease, regular domestic and commercial cleaning as three separate businesses with three separate sections. They have different buyers, different prices and different urgency, and mixing them on one page loses all three. A Build with a page per service and a page per suburb costs A$500, with a A$100 Deposit to start.

Cleaning is the trade where a website changes the business model, because the work is recurring. One regular client found online is not one job, it is a year of jobs.

Why does a cleaning business need its own website?

Because the alternative is renting your customers from a platform that takes a cut of every clean, forever.

Booking platforms and gig apps will send you work. They also own the relationship, set the price, hold the reviews and can switch you off. Every recurring client you gain through them is a client you are paying rent on for as long as they stay.

A website you own is the opposite. The enquiry comes to you, the price is yours, and the client is yours for as long as you do a good job. For a recurring service, that difference compounds faster than in any other trade.

What services need their own page?

Split them properly, because the buyers are not the same person.

End of lease and bond cleaning. Regular house cleaning. One off deep cleans. Spring cleaning. Move in cleaning. Oven cleaning. Carpet and upholstery cleaning. Window cleaning. Office and commercial cleaning. Strata and common area cleaning. Airbnb and short stay turnovers. Builders and post construction cleaning. NDIS and aged care cleaning.

A tenant panicking about their bond has nothing in common with an office manager arranging a nightly contract. Sending both to the same page asks each of them to sort through information meant for the other.

What should an end of lease page say?

Everything the tenant is worried about, in order.

Bond cleaning is the highest volume, highest urgency search in domestic cleaning. The tenant has a date, a real estate agent and a few thousand dollars of bond on the line.

The page should carry a full checklist of what is included, say whether carpet steam cleaning and oven cleaning are part of the price or extra, give a price by property size, and state plainly what happens if the agent is not satisfied. If you offer a re-clean within a set period, that is the sentence that wins the job.

Be careful with wording. Promise the re-clean, not the outcome, because no cleaner controls what an agent decides to be difficult about.

How do you win commercial and strata work?

With a completely different page and a completely different tone.

An office manager or strata committee is buying reliability and paperwork, not a spotless bench. They want to know about insurance, police checks or background screening for staff, whether the same cleaner attends each time, what happens when someone is sick, how the site is secured and locked up, and whether you can supply consumables.

Put all of that on the commercial page. Add a simple way to request a site visit rather than a price, because commercial work is quoted on inspection.

Do suburb pages work for cleaners?

They work extremely well, because cleaning runs have to be geographically tight to be profitable.

A cleaner who takes one job across town loses an hour of paid time to travel. Suburb pages let you be visible exactly where you want density, and quiet where you do not.

Write each one about cleaning in that suburb: the housing mix, whether it is mostly rentals or owner occupied, how the parking works, whether you already have regular clients nearby. Thirteen services and twelve suburbs is over twenty pages, which is the usual shape of one of our Builds and is structured to improve local search visibility.

Should a cleaning website show prices?

More than any other trade, yes.

Cleaning is the one service where people expect a number before they enquire. A price by bedrooms and bathrooms for end of lease, an hourly or per visit rate for regular cleans, and a starting price for extras like ovens and carpets will lift enquiries rather than reduce them.

Say what is included and what is not. The complaints in this trade almost always come from a mismatch between what the client imagined and what was quoted, and a clear list on the website prevents most of them.

What does a cleaning website cost?

The Setup Fee is A$500.

A$100 Deposit starts the Build. We take your services, your suburbs, your insurance and screening details, your logo and your photos, and build the site. The Preview is ready within 3 business days of the Deposit and your details landing.

You see the whole finished site before you pay anything else. Changes are made until you are happy, with no cap on rounds and no extra charge. The A$400 Balance is due only on Approval. Live after that, usually the same day.

The Care Plan keeps the site hosted and looked after month to month. The price depends on the size of the Build and is agreed with you on the call.

Frequently asked questions

What photos should a cleaning business use?

Before and after shots of real jobs, especially ovens, bathrooms and carpets, where the difference is dramatic. Photos of your team in uniform and your branded car help too. We do not use stock photos of models with spray bottles.

Do I need a booking system on the website?

Not to start. A Quote Request form on every page and a tap-to-call button covers most cleaning enquiries, and it gives you a chance to price the job properly instead of accepting a booking you would have quoted higher.

I am a sole operator. Is a website worth A$500?

If you want recurring clients rather than one off jobs, yes. One regular fortnightly client held for a year is usually worth more than the Setup Fee several times over.

Can I add more suburbs later?

Yes. New pages are part of what the Care Plan covers, and the scope of the original Build is agreed on the Discovery Call.
